Create a Program

Creating a program is a 2 step process.  First, you will create a program that will contain information that your coaches and athletes will be able to visit after registration.  Second, you will create the product information related the program they are registering for.

Step to create a program

  1. Go to Manage > Registrations
  2. Click the + symbol OR click on DISCIPLINE name and Add Program
  3. Enter the Program Name and Description
    Note: For the description field, this information will be available to the registrant after they register.  Enter information like
    • Important Dates, Schedule information, Where to meet, etc.

    This information can be updated all season long and available to participants.

  4. Click Create Program, then you will be taken to add PRODUCT information.
    WARNING: You MUST complete the product information step to connect for registration.  You can always go back and edit if you don't have all the correct information at the time of creation.

  5. Now that you are on the PRODUCT creation page, complete all fields need for your registration.  The fields available are:

    Fields Information
    Registration Description This textarea field is for registration information that you want a registrant to know BEFORE they register.
    Age Group This multi-select field allow you to connect age groups to the program for sorting purposes on the registration page.
    SKU This will auto-increment.  Not necessary to edit unless you want/need to match with external products.
    Price This base cost of the product.  NOTE: This field is a dynamic field that may change if you add options that adjust the price.
    List Price Generally, this will be the same as the Price field, as this will will show the purchaser what the cost of the program is prior to adding options that adjust the price.
    Stock level adjustment Adding Stock to a program means that there is a limitation to the number of spots available. When it reaches 0 it will be Sold Out.  Once you add stock to this field, you will see Current stock level: (value).  This will reflect the number of spots left after a value has been initally added.  Therefore, if you come back to edit the product later and want to add more spots, you will want to adjust accordingly to the Current stock level: (value).
    Always in stock? If you have open ended registrations, then you can check this box to ignore the stock level for the program.
    Waiver(s) This multi-select field allow you to add all the applicable waivers needed for this registration.  Select all waivers needed and use the icon on the left of each entry to sort in the order you would like the registrant to sign.
    Option Sets This multi-select field allow you to add selectable options for a registration.  See Option Set tutorial for more information.
    Membership This field is only applicable to Clubs that have a membership component that requires a specific membership to be eligible to register.  See Membership tutorials for more information.
    Restrictions The restriction options give you another set of options for limiting registrations based on the specific logic you choose.  WARNING:  By using these restrictions it will make your products less accessible, so use with caution to prevent unintended consequences.  See Product Restrictions tutorial for more information.
    Published By default, this checkbox will publish your registration to the public.  If you do NOT want visitors to see your product until it is ready, deselect the checkbox and you can work on until you are ready to make public.
  6. Click SAVE, and your program registration is complete.
    NOTE: You can always edit products after they are created, so make sure you complete the 2-Step process and don't forget to save!
