Understanding Program/ Creating a Program

A Program page is where you add all the information about a specific program you offer. It gives you plenty of room for your typed text, extra links, and multiple places to showcase images. Most importantly, you can add a direct registration link to the page, making it easy for your visitors to learn about your program and sign up right away.


Step 1: Open the Program Creation Form

  1. Hover over Content: In the top administration toolbar, place your cursor over the Manage tab, then hover over Content.
  2. Hover over Add Content: Move your cursor over Add content to expand the options menu.
  3. Navigate and Click on Program: Select Program from the sub-menu list to open the creation form.

Step 2: Fill Out Program Features & Media

On the Create Program page, fill in the core elements of the page:

  • Title: Enter a clear name for the program.
  • Feature Image: This is a required field. Click Add media under the Feature Image section to select or upload an image that will represent this program page.
  • Page Banner (Optional): Check the Show Banner? box if you want a large graphic at the top of the page, and then click Add media below it to attach your banner image.
  • Registration Link (Optional): Type a specific web address or internal link if this program requires an enrollment page.
  • Body: Use the text editor to type out the details, rules, or general descriptions for the program.

Step 3: Customize Page Layout Sections

If you need to add custom blocks of content or special sections further down the page:

  1. Scroll down to the Page Layout Section.
  2. Click the Add Section button under Section Content.
  3. Choose the design template you want to add from the pop-up menu (such as Two Columns, Full Text, or Photo Gallery).

Step 4: Nest the Page in Your Menu

To make sure users can easily find this page under your site's main navigation structure:

  1. On the right-hand sidebar, click to expand Menu settings.
  2. Check the box for Provide a menu link.
  3. Locate the Parent link dropdown menu.
  4. Select Programs (or a sub-category like Alpine, U16, or FIS) to neatly tuck your new program page right into the proper drop-down navigation area.

Before saving, ensure this program is connected to other relevant sections of your site:

  1. Scroll down to the Classification & Related Pages section.
  2. Click into the Related Page(s) field.
  3. Start typing the name of an existing page you want to link this program to (such as a general team or age group page).
  4. Select the correct page from the automated dropdown list. You can click Add another item if you need to link it to multiple pages.

Step 6: Save Your Changes

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the form and click the blue Save button to publish your new program page.
