Managing and Displaying Website Sponsors

This tutorial covers how to categorize sponsor levels, create a dedicated sponsors page, and add new sponsors to your Ski Club Pro website.

Step 1: Categorize Sponsor Levels

Before adding sponsors, you can organize them into specific tiers or levels (e.g., Gold Sponsors, Community Partners).

1. Navigate to the top administration menu and click Structure.
2. Hover over Taxonomy and select Sponsor Levels.
3. You will see a list of existing sponsor categories. To modify one, click Edit next to the specific term.
4. Update the name in the text field to match your desired tier name.
5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Create the Sponsors Page

To display your sponsors on the frontend of your website, you must create a basic page and link it to your main navigation menu.

1. Go to the Content menu and select Add Content, then click Basic page.

2. Enter a Title for the page (e.g., "Sponsors").

   Scroll down to the Page Layout Section and click Add Section.

   From the overlay menu, select Feature Content.

   Locate the Content Display settings panel within the new section:

   • In the Select dropdown, choose Sponsors.

   • In the Display dropdown, select your preferred layout (e.g., Block, Full Sponsor Grid, or Static: Sponsor by Category).

     To add the page to your website's main menu, look at the right-hand sidebar under Menu settings:

   • Check the box for Provide a menu link.
   • Confirm the Menu link title.
   • Under Parent link, select <Main navigation>.
3. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Add a New Sponsor

Once your categories and display pages are configured, you can add individual sponsor profiles.

1. Navigate to Add Content in the top menu and select Sponsor.

   Enter the name of the organization in the Sponsor Name field.

   Upload the company logo under the Logo field.

   (Optional) If you want the logo to link directly to the sponsor's external website:

   • Check the box for Logo Link.

   • Input the complete external URL in the Link Website field.

     (Optional) Check Feature Sponsor if you want this specific sponsor highlighted prominently across other areas of the site.

     Scroll down to the Classification & Related Pages section:

   • Sponsor Level: Type and select the appropriate tier (e.g., GTSSF Sponsors) created in Step 1.
   • Related Page(s): Type and select the newly created "Sponsors" page to ensure the logo populates on that specific page.
2. Click Save.
