How to Add a Page to Your Navigation Menu

When creating a new page—such as a Program, Article, or Basic Page—you can automatically add it to your website's navigation menu right from the editing screen.

Follow these steps to configure your menu link settings before saving your page.

Step 1: Open Menu Settings

Look at the sidebar menu on the right side of your page when you are creating or editing a page:

  1. Locate the Menu settings section.
  2. Click on the header to expand the settings panel.
  3. Check the box next to Provide a menu link.

Once checked, additional settings will appear in the dropdown panel:

  • Menu link title: Enter the text you want visitors to see in the navigation bar (e.g., "Our Programs" or "Meet the Team").
  • Description: Optional. Add a brief description that appears when a user hovers their mouse over the menu link.
  • Parent link: Choose where this link lives. Select <Main navigation> to make it a primary tab at the top of your site, or choose an existing page from the list to nest it as a sub-menu item.

Step 3: Save Your Page

Once your menu settings are configured, scroll to the bottom of the editor and click the blue Save button. Your page will publish, and the new link will immediately appear in your site's navigation.
