Adding Merchandise as an Add-On to a Registration Product

Ski Club Pro allows you to connect merchandise products—such as team jackets, hats, uniforms, or other gear—to a specific registration product. When a participant registers for that program, the connected merchandise will be presented as an add-on before they proceed to their cart.

Before You Begin

The merchandise item must already be created as a product in your Ski Club Pro Store before it can be connected to a registration product.

Step 1: Open the Registration Product

From the Ski Club Pro admin dashboard:

1. Navigate to  Manage Registration.
2. Locate the registration product you want to edit.
3. Click the edit icon next to the program name.

Step 2: Open the Extras Tab

Inside the registration product editor, select Extras from the menu on the left.

Under Recommended Products, you can connect existing Store products to this registration.

1. Click in the product search field.
2. Begin typing the name of the merchandise item.
3. Select the desired product from the results.
4. To offer more than one merchandise item, click Add another item and repeat the process.
5. Click Save when finished.

The selected merchandise is now connected to this registration product.

Step 3: Registrant Completes the Registration

The participant completes the normal registration process for the program, including participant selection, required information, waivers, and any other registration steps configured by your club.

Once the registration product has been added to the cart, Ski Club Pro displays the available Product Add-ons for Registration.

The registrant can click Select Add-on next to the merchandise they would like to purchase.

Step 4: Select Merchandise Options

Selecting an add-on opens the merchandise product.

Depending on how the Store product has been configured, the registrant may be able to:

• Select a size, style, or other product option.
• Choose a quantity.
• Review the product price and description.

Once the appropriate options are selected, click Add to cart.

Step 5: Review the Shopping Cart

The merchandise is added to the same shopping cart as the registration product and appears as its own line item.

The registrant can then review the registration and merchandise before completing checkout.

Adding Multiple Merchandise Options

You can offer multiple products with the same registration.

From the Extras tab of the registration product, click Add another item under Recommended Products and select each additional Store product you want to offer.

This is useful for items such as:

• Team jackets
• Hats
• Training shirts
• Race suits
• Uniform pieces
• Club merchandise
• Equipment or accessories

Each connected product will be presented to the registrant on the Product Add-ons screen during registration.

Important

Connecting merchandise as a Recommended Product does not add the merchandise to the participant's cart automatically. The registrant selects the merchandise they want, chooses any applicable product options, and adds the item to their cart.

If a product you want to add does not appear when searching under Recommended Products, first confirm that the merchandise product has been created in the Ski Club Pro Store.
