How to Clone Programs Into a New Season

Cloning programs allows you to quickly carry programs from a previous season into a new season without rebuilding each program from scratch.

Before you begin: Programs are organized under Disciplines, so the new season and the destination discipline must exist before you can clone programs into it.

1. Create the New Season

1. From the left-hand menu, go to Settings → Season Setup.
2. Click Add New Season.
3. Enter the Season Name.
4. If you would also like to carry waivers into the new season, use Clone waivers from which Season? to select the previous season.
5. Select the waivers you would like to clone.
6. Confirm the Published setting.
7. Click Create Season.

Already created your new season? Skip ahead to Step 2.

2. Add the Destination Discipline

Programs must be cloned into a discipline within the new season.

1. From Season Setup, click the name of your new season.
2. Review the disciplines currently associated with the season.
3. If the discipline you need does not already exist, click Add Discipline.
4. Enter the Discipline Name.
5. Confirm the Published setting.
6. Click Create Discipline.

Repeat this process for any additional disciplines you need in the new season.

3. Open the Destination Discipline

1. Find the discipline where you want the cloned programs to appear.
2. Click View Programs next to that discipline.
3. Click Clone Programs.

This opens the program cloning tool for that specific season and discipline.

4. Choose the Programs You Want to Clone

1. Under Clone Programs from Season, select the season containing the programs you want to copy.
2. Select the Discipline(s) containing the programs you want to clone.
3. Click Next Page.

The available programs from the selected discipline(s) will now be displayed.

5. Review the Programs and Clone Settings

Check the box next to each program you want to clone.

Before cloning, review each program's information. You can update the Program Name, Price, and Stock before creating the new programs.

You can also choose what information is carried into the cloned program:

• Product Options — Select this to carry the program's product options into the new program.
• Activate Product — Select this if you want the cloned product activated.
• Clone Descriptions — Select this to copy the existing program description into the new program.

You can use the checkboxes at the top of each column to apply an option to all selected programs.

Recommended: Always review pricing, stock, product options, and descriptions before cloning. These settings may need to change from one season to the next.

6. Complete the Clone

Once you have selected the programs and confirmed all settings:

1. Click Submit.
2. You will return to the Programs page.
3. Scroll to the destination discipline and confirm that the cloned programs now appear under the new season.

Your programs are now ready to be reviewed and configured for registration.

Repeat for Additional Disciplines

If your organization has programs under multiple disciplines, repeat the process:

Season Setup → New Season → Discipline → View Programs → Clone Programs

Clone each group of programs into the appropriate discipline for the new season.
