Age Group Restrictions

To prevent unwanted registrations based on a program age restriction, you can add restrictions to your age categories and it will not allow the registration to proceed based on age. This can help limit unwanted registration that need to be refunded or changed later. Catch those mistakes upfront by using age group restrictions.

NOTE: Age ranges are optional and can be set to any preference you prefer. Plus, each program can have multiple ages categories if needed.

How to add or create age restrictions

  1. As a CLUB ADMIN, go to SETTINGS > CATEGORIES
  2. Select AGE GROUP
  3. Either ADD TERM or edit existing age category
  4. Set the Name of the age group that visitors will see on search bar, e.g. U10
  5. Add the START DATE and END DATE for your age group
  6. Click SAVE

How to add age group to program

  1. Go to a program product through:

    MANAGE > REGISTRATIONS > Select program > Edit Product, or,

    ACCOUNT > REGISTER > Select program > Edit Product

  2. Go to the AGE GROUP section and select the age group(s).

    NOTE: You can select multiple age groups per product and the age requirement will span all dates on the selected age groups, .e.g. U10, U12 will cover 4 years.

  3. Click SAVE

How the age restriction works for a household

When a household goes to register a participant for a program, their birth year needs to be within the age range or it will not allow them to proceed and will tell them that they don't meet the age requirement.
