Setup Email Templates

Overview:  Email templates can be very helpful for a club to standardize a format or simply speed up the time it takes to create an email.  As a club admin, you can create full templates or just email components that staff members can use in their email content.


Creating an Email Template

NOTE:  Only CLUB ADMIN can create templates.

  1. Go to SETTINGS > EMAIL TEMPLATES
  2. Click ADD EMAIL TEMPLATE
    1. Give it a title that will be what a staff member can select.
    2. Give a description Optional
    3. Use the text editor to setup template:
      1. Create components, e.g. tables, quicklinks, etc., or;
      2. Create full email layouts, e.g. weekly team emails, training schedules, etc.
  3. Click SAVE

Once the template is created it is accessible from the text editor on the COMMUNICATION > EMAIL page.


Selecting Email Templates in Editor

  1. Go to COMMUNICATION > EMAIL
  2. In the MESSAGE body select the "Template" dropdown from the toolbar
    1. Find the element you want to add and select it.

      NOTE:  You can add more than one template into the editor and modify as needed.

  3. Send email.
